Our Core Values

Frontiers’ Core Values may be thought of as its “DNA.” Because we are a decentralized and increasingly international movement, we take the risk of losing the values which hold us together. However, a strong commitment to our Core Values will ensure that this DNA is transmitted throughout the movement.

One of our leaders has described our Core Values as ‘The glue which binds us together, the magnet which attracts others to us and the ruler by which we measure ourselves.’

Our Core Values:

  • The Supremacy of Jesus Christ in All Things - "Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;…Tremble before him, all the earth. Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns." (Psalm 96:8-10); "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:9-10). Read more about this core value.
  • Apostolic Calling in Community - "We have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles, for His name’s sake" (Romans 1:5).  Learn more about Apostolic Calling.
  • Leadership for Reproduction - "Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith." (Hebrews 13:7); "And what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well" (2 Tim. 2:2).  See additional material about this core value.
  • Growth Resulting in Fruitfulness - "Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ." (Eph. 4:15); "By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples" (John 15:8).  Further explore this core value.
  • Grace-Orientation - "Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God" (Rom. 15:7).  Take a closer look at Grace Orientation.
